The American cowboy is a man of substance, strength and courage. The symbols on this pen are evidence of the true western culture of hard work, horsemanship, and individualism inherent of the Wild West that is admired throughout the world. A replica of a tooled leather boot on top of the clip is the ultimate symbol of this American icon. The interlocking horseshoes around the center band are a symbol of luck while the stars throughout the pen design are a nod to the sheriffs of the Wild West representing law, order and good will. Your gift recipient doesn't need to be a Cowboy to appreciate this pen. With its rich warm copper finish and dark antique highlights, the details of this pen will surely impress.

Unlike commercially produced wooden and acrylic pens, I hand-turned this one on a lathe then shaped, sanded, polished, finished and waxed it. The pen is equipped with extremely durable and long-lasting components. Refills can easily be found at any office supply under a variety of brand names.
